For years I have returned to this location searching for the perfect shot. Seeing the amazing cloud formations, I knew this was my chance to finally capture the mood I was looking for. As the tide surged, a slow shutter created a waterfall on the bordering bed of lava rock and transformed the ocean into a whirlpool of mist. As the sun dipped lower into the horizon, the incredible cloud formations were set ablaze. I fired shot after shot, all my senses engulfed in the golden palette of colors lighting sky and the gushing sound of the receding ocean.
