“Tunnels” also known as Makua beach is simply a tropical paradise. From the labyrinth of lava tubes that wind through its inner and outer reef making this a snorkeling and diving haven. I imagined this photo and knew right away that in order to capture the essence of this magical and unique place I had to photograph it from the ocean’s viewpoint. I was waist deep in the Pacific Ocean with my tripod/camera looking through the view finder when I knew I had the perfect healing beach scene I was looking for, as I watched the waves in the far distance, I click the shutter until the end of the roll before heading back ashore and enjoy this magnificent paradise.
